Geometry check point term 3

W.A.L. about angles and 3D shapes
Description: Maths with James
Evaluation: Pretty good!
Feedback: Kia Ora Son, I Really liked the way you worked out the angles and the 3D shapes.
Feed forward: Next time  I think you need to manage your time better so you complete your work on time. You also need to go to math with James because you are missing out on great teaching lessons with him.
Personal goal: I need to go to every lesson with James to improve my maths learning!

After Qwade drew in the triangles he was measuring every angle even the hypothetical angles and adding them into his total calculation, until I reminded him that he only needed the total of the pentagon! I was impressed with his knowledge!

No idea about volume!

What am I?
I have 6 faces, 6 vertices and 10 edges. 1 of my faces is a pentagon.
Pentagonal pyramid?

Qwade's What am I?
I have 2 faces, 1 vertex and 1 edge.

I have 4 faces, 4 vertices and 6 edges.

  1. Great post Qwade, I love your 2 questions. Is 1 a cone and 2 a triangular pyramid? All your answers look well thought out and correct. Remember a square based pyramid has 5 faces.
